Having more than 35 years’ experience, I believe my passion, experience, commitment, skills, competencies, and to conscientiously toil for the benefit of the organization, symbolises me inordinately apt for Vidya Peetam.


The credentials I retain are my dexterity:

I have acquired Master’s Degree, Diploma in Yoga, Special expertise as a Yoga teacher and therapist & Post Graduate Diploma in Education Leadership [PGDEL.].
Today I stand tall after rendering my devoted services in the Kindergarten and 20 years of dedicated service as the Primary School Headmistress in Vidya Peetam.
I feel proud to be called as the ‘Designer’ of the Paradise in Vidya Peetam (Kinder Garten). It’s a model section recognised by IAPE, Chennai.


Duties and Responsibilities

I set up attractive classroom ambience with specialised techniques. Further I take keen interest in sprouting out with vivid strategies for class room management and I have customized my training sessions to empower all the teachers on various topics such as Class room management, Formulating suitable assessment pattern, effective correction strategies and innovative teaching methodologies. I conduct specialised training sessions for the newly appointed teachers in order to equip them with the prominent requisites.
Improved and Innovative methods are induced for the purpose of helping student become more competitive on the global level. I’m passionate about the growth of the institution to the zenith and serve multiple roles that of an excellent planner, motivator and decision-maker in order to execute it.
I conduct Yoga sessions for students to develop their self-regulation skills, academic performance, physical well-being and reduced anxiety and tension and also for teachers to improve Teacher well-being and classroom climate and I am specialised in Therapeutic Yoga.
I consciously mentor the students and the teachers with the objectivity and focus on attaining top notch performance of students by establishing and maintaining a learning climate that is conducive for optimum student performance.
I have always taken a lead role in the event management of the school events and activities.
Furthermore I try to perpetuate discipline aspects of the institution as well as facilitate aesthetic sense in the overall exertion and integration.

Educating the heart is important in focusing on developing the cognitive aspects [our mind] but also all the qualities that make an individual human [our hearts] and ultimately add meaning to life.

Nurturing strong individuals with physical fitness, mental strength, and emotional balance and to uphold values and ethics is at an advantage to believe in themselves and to lead a worthy life.
Great change always comes from thinking outside the box. To reflect, assess, and challenge our personal forms of thinking is healthy and necessary for growth.
Our distinctive academic programs and innovative teaching methodologies encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn through enquiry and reason, to exchange thoughts and ideas, to develop key personal and social values, to take ownership for his/ her choices and to set goals to realize their own unique potential.
Age appropriate curriculum fosters the young minds to excel in all the developmental areas such as physical, social, emotional and cognitive.
Emphasis for strong foundation is laid for skill based and conceptual based learning along with integration to pave way to holistic development for the learners to gain confidence and to apply the knowledge in everyday life.
To create a highly conducive learning atmosphere our teachers ensure that love, kindness and care, build happy classrooms which can initiate transformation in learning and to bring out the best in each child.
